Husband got me this for Christmas and I hung it in my car yesterday. Looks really cute. He did a good job with figuring out what things I like this past year.

Halloween
Oh what fun it is to see all the kids faces coming up the steps! They don't know where to look first!
My Favorite Soup Ever
I have had this recipe for 6 years and love, love, love it! I have passed it on to a number of people and made it a number of times. I never get sick of it and in the fall and winter it is really wonderful!
Enjoy! My very next favorite soup is pumpkin/squash or tomato bisque! Oh I can't forget lobster bisque!
Master Bedroom
The whole room started with the two chairs because of the color of them! Then we got the bedroom furniture when we lived in Amherst, OH. Now in Kansas I love how big the room is but I am ready for a change already. Maybe for summer I'll do some new bedding.

Summer Concert
My husbands daughters visited in July and we went to a live country concert in downtown Kansas City in the Power and Lights District. Was a very warm evening and very loud! I think the girls had fun and it for sure tired out the youngest one!
City Yard Award
Yard work was my big project in the spring of 2013. I am anxious to see this summer in 2014 if everything makes it through this cold winter. My husband potted all the veggies on the back patio and they were great eating! We invited over some friends and stuffed the peppers with some great recipes we found. Really looking forward to the summer my favorite time of year!
Deck Decorating in 2013
Not sure why but I fell in love with orange this summer! I already had the black and white flower cushions for years and they are still in great shape so I just added to them. The dog bed and dog bowl are great since the dog obviously likes the deck. I added some orange candle lanterns and there are two of the round iron tables. The trees actually are for next to the front door at Christmas time.
