I have a wonderful husband who knows my love of the ocean.  This was a very thoughtful Christmas present below from him this year.  I had no idea the line of jewelry even existed.  I looked it up on line and there are a number of very pretty pieces.

52 Week Savings Challenge

My husband and I have decided to do the 52 Week Savings Challenge.  We are both going to start the 1st week of January.  One of us is going to do it forward and the other backward!  Since we vacation every year maybe in 2015 will be our BIG trip to Italy!

After Christmas Dinner

I am not sure why but I was craving something like the cream filled crepes at Bob Evans and I ended up making Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal (from a can) pancakes with cooked frozen blue berries, strawberries.water and sugar, topped with syrup, powered sugar and whip cream from a spray can!  Yum! Yum!

Girls Christmas

The girls are not with us this year for Christmas but we still decorated all the rooms in the house.  I have been very frustrated with all the items packed away that are "pre-lit" because none of them work this year!  

Christmas 2013

Collection of Christmas items that remind me of the beach...the ornaments I made with names on them are filled with sand I collected on the beach at Anna Maria Island, FL.  The dolphin ornaments were bought at St. Armands Circle, Sarasota, FL.  The shell ornaments are JC Penny 2012.  The star fish were ordered online.  The balance of the ornaments were purchased at Kmart, Gordmans, TJ Maxx and Big Lot of all places.

I got these ornaments below on sale yesterday at 66% off at our local Hobby Lobby.  Every year I just shop for anything I can find to add to my collection of ocean inspired ornaments for my tree.
