I love the beach and I had a great time at Sanibel however the beach was not my favorite part. I love beautiful powder white sand and on Sanibel it is a beach of crushed small shells. People come to Sanibel to look for shells but you'll have to get up early in the morning to find them. I spent most of my time sitting in a sand chair reading and resting when I visited. What I did enjoy about Sanibel was the shops and restaurants and riding bikes. Every restaurant we ate at had wonderful food!
